With over 200 tribes that call the Caribbean home, the Council of Native Caribbean Heritage is passionate about fostering intertribal exchanges to strengthen our communities through such encounters. We seek to undo the acculturation process imposed during the colonial period. We seek to foster a sense of community throughout the various tribal groups in the Caribbean region by encouraging leaders from within these communities to come together, either through teleconferences or in-person meetings.

The Condor-Eagle Project is one of our organization's core projects that provides a platform for intertribal exchanges. The Condor and Eagle symbolism is derived from the prophecy of the Amazon when human societies split into two different paths — that of the Condor and that of the Eagle. The path of the Condor is the path of heart, intuition, and the feminine. The path of the Eagle is the path of the mind, the industrial, and the masculine.

The great Condor and Eagle prophecy tells of a 500-year reign during which the Eagle people would become so powerful that they would drive the Condor people out of existence. The prophecy can be interpreted as conquering America while killing and oppressing the indigenous people. It also foretold of an era that would arise when the Condor and the Eagle come together in the spirit of humanity. However, the prophecy only speaks of the potential of the consciousness for humanity, leaving it up to humanity to actualize this new consciousness.

C.O.N.C.H. is focused on helping bring unity among the First Nations people of the Caribbean. We hope to foster an alliance between the First Nations peoples of Central America, northern coastal communities of South America, and inhabitants of the Caribbean islands.

As a premier informational online resource, C.O.N.C.H. serves as a comprehensive educational tool to be used and shared by everyone. We are committed to recognizing and representing the Caribbean heritage of the First Nations of the Caribbean. We are calling on all indigenous peoples in the Caribbean to unite and strategize in dialogue while pooling resources together.

C.O.N.C.H.’s transport of medicine and medical supplies to Cuba is a crucial medical mission that is helping to address a pressing need in the country. The organization's use of traditional Taino medicinal practices and its focus on building relationships between communities make it a unique and valuable player in this field. CONCH's work serves as a model for other organizations to follow, demonstrating the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing complex healthcare challenges.
